Automatic Observation Display
The meteorological elements and information from the data processing unit of the center are presented on the display terminal in a convenient and intuitive way. The display terminal can support userdefined thresholds for meteorological elements such as cloud base height, visibility, and RVR according to the current specific flight standards of the airport, producing obvious cues such as different background colors, etc.. It can also visually display rich information such as sensor accidental disconnection, sensor status, unupdated data on the display interface, thus helping users to quickly find system failures and potential problems.
Tower display terminal (Daytime)
As shown in the picture at the top right, there is a yellow alarm when the wind speed is greater than 8 m/s, an orange alarm when it is greater than 12 m/s, and a red alarm when it is greater than 17 m/s. The alarm threshold can be personalized according to the needs of the terminal. Black box alarm when element value exceeds reasonable range.
The tower display terminal is a visual weather information window specially designed according to the working habits of air traffic controllers and civil aviation norms, with key meteorological elements highlighted to provide meteorological support for the scheduling decisions of air traffic controllers.
The tower display terminal displays the meteorological elements in real time without user operation. It displays the meteorological elements of the runway touchdown zone, midpoint and stop end, including ground wind, clouds, air pressure, visibility and runway visual range.

Compile and Distribute Weather Reports
The system has complete functions of compiling and distributing METAR/SPECI/ MET REPORT/SPECIAL reports
The details are as follows:
1-You can choose to observe and distribute reports every 30 minutes or every hour depending on the configuration;
2-Manual and automatic distribution: The system provides the modes of manual and automatic distributing reports , which can be easily switched;
3-In the state of manual report distribution, the system automatically generates a message template according to the expert database. After changes by the user, the system automatically verifies the correctness of the message, gives IntelliSense about existing problems, and distributes the message after the user confirms it.
4-The system provides interactive tools for forecasters and observers. The observer sends a request for reports and synchronously sends the current live message to the weather forecaster. The weather forecaster makes a forecast for landing according to the current live message and the forecast rules, and the system automatically adds it to the current live message.
5-When the user generates and sends various messages, the software can automatically check and prompt errors in these messages according to the rules of the messages or codes. Before sending the message, the workstation prompts the user to confirm and automatically checks the whole message, so as to avoid sending incorrect messages. The User has the right to ignore the result of the automatic verification, send the message and confirm the successful sending.
6-The system completes the automatic extraction of meteorological elements and manual input of meteorological elements, gives reminders when meteorological elements exceed or cross the threshold value, the user decides whether to send a special message; under the conditions of automatic message, the system automatically sends out the special message when the special message conditions are triggered.
The weather report has a built-in meteorological and message coding expert system. Even in the state of manual sending message, the system will automatically extract data from the observation results to generate messages, and can verify the manually edited messages, which not only ensures the accuracy of meteorological information, but also improves the efficiency of message exchange. In unattended situations, the system has the ability to automatically issue regular and special weather live reports.
Airport Forecast
According to the airport forecast, it is possible to compile and distribute TAF reports and send the forecast for landing to the observation and sending terminal. The system provides a quick input module for ground wind, visibility, cloud, weather phenomena, temperature, etc., which minimizes input errors and omissions, and provides auxiliary functions such as message query, sending reminder settings and sending parameter settings.

TAF report includes FC report, which is the forecaster's forecast of weather changes in the next 9 hours, and FT report, which is the forecaster's forecast of weather changes in the next 24 hours or 30 hours. After entering the effective reporting period, the system will remind the user to compile and distribute the airport forecast according to the preset time interval.
Landing forecast is a forecast of weather trends for the next two hours, compiled by an airport forecaster in response to an observer's request for trends. After receiving the landing forecast, the observer attaches it to a regular or special message and sends it out to the outside world. Airport forecast has built-in expert knowledge and specifications on the relationship between forecast elements and change groups, as well as the revision conditions and message sending times, thus ensuring messages quality and forecasting efficiency.
Technical Diagnostics
Technical diagnostics provides a convenient and accurate tool for maintenance personnel to quickly browse the status of automatic weather observation system and locate the fault points in the system. The diagnostic content includes the status and error information of outdoor sensors, automatic weather observation stations, communication equipment, central data processing unit, and user terminals.
The picture below is the main interface of Technical diagnostics. According to this, maintenance personnel can grasp the whole picture of the whole system according to one picture. For example, red indicates the communication failure of the equipment, and green indicates that the equipment is in good condition.
User can also select the sensor to diagnose the communication source code and determine the cause of the fault.

1 - Real-time monitoring of meteorological elements
Monitoring of meteorological elements allows you to track changes of as many as six meteorological elements in the last 1 to 24 hours, providing meteorologists with reference to accurately grasp the changes of meteorological elements.
2 - Statistical analysis
Statistical analysis allows you to analyze changes in selected meteorological elements from 1 hour to 365 days and provides a powerful tool for tracking the short-term and long-term change rules of meteorological elements. Its analysis time range can be hours, days, months to a year.
3 - Visual display of wind direction and speed
The wind direction and speed module provided by the platform can comprehensively analyze the changing law of wind direction and speed. As shown in the figure on the right, the change of wind direction and speed within 7 hours, the wind direction is indicated directly on the wind speed chart.
4 - Data verification

The platform can automatically check the absence of measurement in the electronic observation book, for example, all the absence of measurement records are displayed in the list in the right figure, light green means that the absence of measurement records have been supplemented, red means that have not been supplemented, double clicking the unsupplemented records to complete the supplementary recording through data collection or manual input on the right.

The software for monthly and annual general books implements the import of ground basic meteorological data, data error checking and editing, counts various meteorological elements according to specifications, and generates monthly and annual general books in the form of standard spreadsheets with one click. The whole process is simple and fast.
6 - Climatic analysis and generation of climatography
Airport climatography is a document that records and summarizes the general conditions and climate changes at an airport. It is based on the collection and analysis of meteorological data for five years or more and is one of the main tools of climate services. Airport climatography not only describes the temporal distribution characteristics and function of climatic elements, but also analyzes the causes of climate and summarizes the climatic change law, providing support for airport planning, construction and operation.
In addition to generating climatography based on the data of this system, the software has the ability to read records of the automatic meteorological observation system in the universal HIS format, create climatography with heterogeneous data, maximize the use of available data resources and increase the efficiency of creating climatography
