Product Introduction
Runway visual range is the main basis for determining the minimum takeoff standard, the minimum approach standard, the classification standard of precision approach and landing operation, the minimum standard of airport operation, and the minimum planning standard. The runway visual range directly determines whether the runway can be opened normally and the feasible approach mode of aircraft.
Transmissive runway visual range measuring equipment uses laser with the most sensitive wavelength recognized for human eyes as the transmission light source. Based on the standard algorithm of ICAO, by measuring the transmission attenuation of the laser in the atmosphere, combined with the airport runway light intensity and the brightness of the atmospheric background light, it accurately calculates the maximum distance from the airport runway pavement signs, runway boundary lights or center line lights that the pilot in the aircraft cockpit can see on the runway. The equipment includes: laser transmitting terminal, optical receiving terminal and remote control terminal. The system can fully automatically measure the airport runway visual range and airport visibility.
