The trailer-mounted runway friction tester, together with pavement condition evaluation and ice prediction equipment, has been in operational use since its first trial at Wuxi Airport in May 2009.

To date, it has been deployed at 290 airports across China, including major international airports such as Beijing Daxing International Airport and Beijing Capital International Airport, as well as airports located in cities and regions such as Wuhan, Xiangyang, Zhengzhou, Qingdao, and Xinjiang.

The system has also been exported to two international airports: the New Ulaanbaatar International Airport in Mongolia and an international airport in Venezuela.
